Prof Pradip Kumar Mitra is a postgraduate in management (Finance) from Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata and completed his Chartered Financial Analyst and Master of Financial Analysis from ICFAI, India. He has completed his PhD from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra on Sustainability Reporting for Indian Chemical Industry. He is an accredited management teacher (AMT) recognized by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi. He has also cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC in two subjects: commerce and management. A result driven professional with over 12 years of rich corporate experience in the financial services sector (especially into stock broking and portfolio management services) he has worked with some well-known companies of repute like Motilal Oswal Securities, Religare Securities and Anand Rathi Securities etc. He has also 17 years of full time post graduate teaching experience in various institutes of repute and has taught various subjects of finance like SAPM, Derivatives, and International Finance etc. He is a keen researcher and published many research papers in different management journals of repute both at national and international level. He has also presented his papers in international conferences at Sri Lanka and Malaysia. He is a keen researcher on quantitative finance and sustainable development and reporting working on these two fields for the last eight years. He is an expert on outcome-based education and accreditation and has provided a few consulting roles for NAAC and NBA in some of the institute of repute in Mumbai. He is also an expert in Investment Management and conducted some MDPs for the employee of some reputed corporates in Mumbai. He is also a recognised PhD guide for Mumbai University.

  • 2011: Successfully completed CFA (INDIA) from ICFAI, Hyderabad in 2011.
  • 1998: MBF (Management of Business Finance) (2 Years Autonomous Course) from Indian Institute of Finance, Delhi in 1998 with Ist Class.
  • 1997: PGDBA (Finance) (Equivalent to MBA) from Post Graduate Institute of Management, Calcutta, recognised by AICTE. Passed with Ist class.
  • 1992: B. Com (Hons) from S.A Jaipuria College affiliated to University of Calcutta.
  • Gold medallist for being topper in PGDBA (Equivalent to MBA Program) at Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, India in 1997.
