FETE 2025

Held on 15th February 2025 at the VESIM Campus, was a vibrant celebration that brought together alumni, faculty, and students for an evening of connection, recognition, and entertainment. The event began with a soulful Saraswati Vandana, followed by an inspiring welcome address by the Director, emphasizing the importance of alumni engagement. The evening featured the prestigious Alumni Awards, honouring contributions across categories like "10 Years with VESIM," "25 Years with VESIM," the "Catalyst Award," and recognition of alumni who excelled in sports. A lively student dance performance added colour and joy to the event, making FETE 2025 a memorable blend of celebration, networking, and community spirit.

Start up Pitch session (17th Feb 2024)

The Startup Pitch Session held on 17th February 2024 showcased the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Budding entrepreneurs presented their startup ideas to a panel of experts and mentors. The session provided a platform for creative thinking, constructive feedback, and networking. It was a successful initiative that encouraged entrepreneurial mindset and inspired future business leaders.

FETE 2024 Annual Alumni Meet Report Event:

The Fete 2024 alumni meet, themed "Incredible India," celebrated India's cultural diversity with performances, cuisine, and art. The event featured a Startup Pitch Session, cultural performances, and a cake-cutting ceremony. 167 alumni and 38 family members attended, with special felicitation for the Batch 1998-2000 and 2013-2015 for their milestone anniversaries. New award categories, including Distinguished Alumni, Young Achievers, and Entrepreneur Award, highlighted outstanding alumni achievements.

Awards Distribution (17th Feb 2024)

On 17th February 2024, an Awards Distribution Ceremony was held to honor outstanding alumni. Awards were presented in three categories: Distinguished Alumni, Young Achievers, and Entrepreneurship Award. Felicitation Of Batches (17th Feb 2024) (1998 and 2013)

On 17th February 2024, a special felicitation ceremony was organized to honor the alumni of Batches 1998 and 2013. The event was a heartfelt tribute to their journey, achievements, and continued connection with the institution. It was a joyous occasion filled with nostalgia, memories, and warm reunions, celebrating 25 and 10 years of their graduation, respectively.

Mock GDPI (30th Nov 2024)

The VESIM Alumni Cell successfully conducted a Mock GDPI session for the MMS Batch 2023–2025 on 30th November 2024 at the campus, with active participation from around 90–100 students. Eleven distinguished alumni from Finance, Marketing, Operations, and HR specializations conducted the sessions, offering insightful feedback on communication, confidence, and subject knowledge. The event served as a valuable platform to enhance students' interview readiness, boost their confidence, and strengthen alumni-student engagement.

Career Guidance Session (5th Oct 2024)

This session will offer personalized career guidance to students, helping them understand potential career opportunities, industry trends, and the necessary skills required to excel. The session will feature industry experts providing advice on how to align academic knowledge with real-world career expectations.

Pre-Placement Talk with 2nd Year Students (17th Aug 2024)

A comprehensive pre-placement talk for second-year students will be held to prepare them for the upcoming placement season. The session will focus on job expectations, recruitment processes, and the skills required to succeed in interviews, providing students with essential insights to navigate their career paths effectively.

FETE-Alumni Get Together (11th Feb 2023)

The Fete-Alumni Get Together event was conducted to bring together alumni and current students in a celebratory and informal setting. It provided a platform for networking, rekindling past connections, and fostering a sense of community, while also enabling students to learn from the experiences of alumni in different professional fields.

MOCK GDPI (16th Dec 2023)

The Alumni Cell of VESIM organized Mock GDPI Sessions for MMS Final Year students on 16th December 2023, providing real-time interview experience with 10 expert alumni from various fields. The event, promoted through social media and the VESMA portal, saw active participation, with students evaluated on resumes and dashboard forms. Alumni offered valuable feedback, and interview recordings were shared on YouTube for extended learning. It served as a valuable learning platform, fostering student preparation, mentorship, and networking, while also acting as a mini-reunion for alumni.

Mock GDPI (18th Mar 2023)

The Mock Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) session was conducted to help students prepare for placement processes. Through simulated GD and PI rounds, students received feedback and tips to improve their communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, boosting their confidence for real-world job interviews.

Alumni Interaction In IQAC (2022-23)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) focuses on continuous improvement in both academic and administrative processes. It promotes a culture of quality by monitoring performance, collecting stakeholder feedback, and implementing enhancement strategies. IQAC ensures the institution meets accreditation standards, supports faculty development, and fosters research and innovation. By regularly reviewing and refining practices, IQAC plays a crucial role in driving overall excellence and growth across the institution.

Guest Lectures (2022-23)

At VESIMSR, guest lectures were conducted as an essential part of the curriculum, providing students with valuable insights from industry experts. These sessions covered various fields such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, and IT, bridging the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience. Renowned professionals shared their knowledge on current trends, challenges, and career opportunities, encouraging interactive discussions and networking. These lectures enhanced students' understanding of real-world applications and helped them build connections for their future careers.

Mentorship Program (12th Nov 2022 )

The Alumni Mentorship Program was conducted to provide students with valuable guidance from alumni across various specializations. This interactive session allowed students to gain insights into industry trends, career paths, and job opportunities, helping them align their academic knowledge with practical industry expectations.
