Dr. Kavita Kanabar, an Associate Professor is currently engaged as Associate Dean in “Business Environment & Strategy (BES)” at VESIM. She is an IIM Ahmedabad Alumni and a resourceful professional with total experience of more than two and half decades. Dr. Kanabar is a certified Soft Skill Trainer and AICTE-NITTT certified Mentor.

Prior to her role as educator, Dr. Kanabar was associated with the Corporates World, precisely with Pharmaceutical Industry, for more than 10 years. Her forte was in domain of International Business Development, Global Tendering, International Marketing, Team Mentoring, Vendor Management, Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural interaction, and Product Management. She was also responsible for having inter-departmental and cross-vertical communication.

She has published research papers in ABDC & UGC CARE listed journals. She is also invitee for Board of Studies meeting in management institutes. She was the Co-Course Director in two Research Methodology Workshops Funded by ICSSR, WRC. Dr. Kavita Kanabar was also the Chairperson of the Public Viva-voce Panel for the award of Ph.D. degree.

She has handled different administrative portfolios like Head-IT, Infrastructure and Procurement and has revamped many processes which has led to data driven decision making. The organization has benefited in terms of time, informed decision making and increased transparency.

Dr. Kavita Kanabar has been recipient of BNMIT Research Excellence Award and also keynote speaker at IPR Conclave organized by VIT, Pune. She was also awarded "Best Professor in International Business" from Dewang Mehta and National Education Awards.
