Dr. Disha Shah is a distinguished academic and finance professional with over 18 years of experience that integrates deep corporate insight with academic excellence.
An alumna of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A), she brings a rare combination of elite education and industry acumen to her work.
Her early career includes over eight years in high-profile roles at organizations like IL&FS and HSBC, where she specialized in Equity & Commodity Derivatives, NBFCs, and Core Banking. Transitioning into academia, she currently serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at VESIM, Mumbai, where she mentors postgraduate students and entrepreneurial initiatives while serving as a subject matter expert to various corporates.
Dr. Shah’s teaching spans key finance courses such as Financial Markets & Institutions and Commercial Banking, enriched by her hands-on corporate experience.
