Prof. Venkati Muttappa has over 16 years of professional experience spanning financial services and academia.He possesses extensive industry expertise in credit appraisal, credit analysis, credit rating, project finance, business risk assessment, financial risk analysis, and management risk analysis. Prior to entering academia, he was associated with leading credit rating agencies including CRISIL Limited, CARE Ratings, and India Ratings & Research, where he worked with the Large Corporate Group, analyzing the financial performance and creditworthiness of companies across the manufacturing, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
He has conducted executive training and management development programs on topics such as real estate sector analysis, financial feasibility studies, project management, and financial modelling.
Prof. Venkati Muttappa is an alumnus of JBIMS, Mumbai, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the School of Business Management (SBM), NMIMS University, Mumbai. His research interests include financial markets, portfolio management, asset pricing, market anomalies, and sustainable finance.
