Dr. Sameer Sakharam Salunkhe is an Assistant Professor – Finance at Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management Studies & Research (VESIM). He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Nagpur University and MMS (Finance) from the University of Mumbai. With over 14 years of teaching experience and 3 years of industry experience in corporate fund raising and financial services, he combines academic excellence with practical industry insights to deliver an enriching learning experience.
His areas of teaching include Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, and Financial Markets & Institutions, while his research interests encompass FinTech, Capital Markets, Banking Services, Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services and emerging financial technologies.
Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Salunkhe has played a pivotal leadership role in academic quality assurance and institutional excellence. He has extensive expertise in NBA accreditation, ISO 9001:2015 academic audits, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and NEP 2020 implementation. As an Accredited Management Teacher (AIMA), he is committed to making complex financial concepts simple, practical and application-oriented, empowering students with strong ethical values and industry-ready competencies.
