International Relations

The Office for International Relations was established in the year 2017 to facilitate mutually beneficial international academic exchange and collaboration between VESIM and foreign Universities /Institutions.

VESIM has signed MoUs with some of the best institutions around the world and established linkages with Universities and Institutions in Europe, Australia and North America.

The key objectives of the Office For International Relations  are:

  • Facilitate and enhance the global visibility and profile of VESIM.
  • Develop, coordinate and strengthen international linkages for joint academic activities
  • Collaborate for joint funded projects with national and international bodies
  • Provide Students , Staff and Faculty Mobilities for international exposure
  • Facilitate, assist and help international students in all their academic pursuits.
  • Progressively increase the scope of the Study in India (SIP) and Study Abroad Programmes (SAP).
  • Provide a base to assist International and Indian scholars for career advancement and contribute towards enhancing bilateral relations.

 

International Office of VESIM plays an important role in liaising with various internal departments to facilitate the exchange of students/ faculty/ staff members between VESIM and outside Universities, or students/ individuals/ researchers seeking admission/ affiliation at the Institute.

 

International office facilitates:

  • Facilitate admission to Full time Degree Programs (Master’s degree and Phd Programs)
  • Facilitate admission to Online, Diploma, Short-term Programs (STP) and Certificate Programs
  • Manage and facilitate - Incoming and Outgoing Student Exchange Programs (Semester exchange – Coursework/ Fieldwork or Field Placement/ Research Affiliation)
  • Manage and facilitate - Incoming and Outgoing Faculty Exchange Programs
  • Customized Short-term Study in India Programs (SIP)
  • Organize and facilitate Joint Seminars/ Workshops/ Symposium/ Conferences
  • Handle delegations from Foreign Universities or Potential partners for Academic and Research collaborations
  • Explore possibilities of Joint Courses/ Online Degree/ Diploma Programmes
  • International Study Tour for students
  • And engage and partner with several international consortium's like

VESIM has been successfully managing these activities at the Institute over the years, and has been actively sharing ongoing/ planned/ future activities with students and academic staffs on regular basis.

The number of VESIM students visited international universities as we conducted multiple Study abroad programs, received more number of students in our regular academic programmes and signed new MoUs with several universities
